    Water Lilies in the Pond with Pots of Flowers, 2021 is one of the most ambitious works from David Hockney’s recent iPad paintings. Formed from six digital compositions combined into a single monumental scene, the artwork depicts a garden pond full of vivid water lilies alongside brightly coloured potted flowers that line the terrace. The rich palette and intricate reflections create a lush visual environment that envelops the viewer.
     
    Printed on two sheets of paper and mounted on Dibond, the work spans 209.2 x 199.4 cm, giving it the spatial impact of a mural and placing it firmly within Hockney’s ongoing exploration of immersive landscape. Created in Normandy in 2021, it reflects his commitment to using digital tools to record the natural world with immediacy and clarity.
